Greetings Alumni and Friends,

It is my pleasure to serve as President of the Bethune-Cookman University Orange County Alumni Chapter (OCAC). OCAC is on the move from embracing the latest in technology to exceeding our fundraising efforts; we are indeed a force to be recognized.

Mary McLeod Bethune left a legacy of generosity and service to our nation and across the globe. The B-CU motto "enter to learn; depart to serve" are words of wisdom that are as appropriate today as any time in our history. What makes Bethune-Cookman University great? I believe it is the alumni, living the mission and vision of our beloved institution. The alumni association provides an opportunity to renew relationships and update our alums on the work and successes of our University.

Bethune-Cookman University’s Orange County Alumni Association and its members play an important role supporting the mission of the University and strengthening the lifelong bonds B-CU alumni have to each other and the institution.  Through fundraising initiatives like the Annual Seafood Feast and the annual B-CU Orange County Alumni Chapter Golf Classic, and targeted efforts to increase alumni contributions, the B-CU Orange County Alumni Association helps meet the needs of today’s students, and also helps find the B-CU students of tomorrow through recruiting efforts at the local chapter level. The B-CU Orange County Alumni Association works to ensure the positive reputation of the Great Bethune-Cookman University.

Bethune-Cookman University Orange County Alumni Meeting - Every third Thursday of each Month (unless rescheduled by notification), 7pm to 8:30pm, at the Orlando Public Library (Burlington Shopping Plaza) located on West Colonial Drive.  See you there!
